MASON'S 1ST TRIP TO THE E.R.

I swear this child is going to give me an ulcer. Just 4 days after his 2nd tooth came out, we make our first trip to the E.R. He was rough housing with Cory on our bed and all of a sudden he gets super hyper and decides to jump off the bed. Cory couldn't grab him in time and he landed on the corner of the pillar. He cried for only a little but it looked really deep. We took him in and they cleaned it up. It was about an 1/8th of an inch deep. They had to wrap him in this blanket that wouldn't let him move. (I had to go out and cry in the waiting room) Cory stayed in the corner so the doctor could stitch him up. He screamed and fought to get out of the wrap he was in. He yelled, "Daddy, daddy! Help me, Help me!" I couldn't have handled it. Cory said it was tough to watch. As soon as they were done, he stopped crying. He got 3 stitches. I came back in and he wanted me and said "Bye bye." He definitly wanted to get out of there. The doctor was super nice. He even gave Mason a kiss. The doctor and nurse said that he was a very strong little boy. When we got home you would never even know Mason got stitches, he is acting perfectly fine and happy again.

While reading your post, my eyes started tearing up. I hate when little ones get hurt and have to go through things like this. Sometimes it is so hard being a mother -- I would be in the waiting room crying too. It's hard to hear your babies cry!! I'm glad that he is feeling better.
