So yesterday Cory had guard duty. I went to church at 1:00 with Mason and for some reason decided to take my phone it. I never do that. I put it on vibrate and in my coat. Mason and I just got settled in and Mason wanted to draw. I thought, "Oh yea, I have my phone. I'll let him draw on that." (It has an etch-a-sketch game) When I pulled it out I had 2 missed calls. One from Cory, and another unknown # with a voicemail. So I listened to my voicemail and it was an Officer Wolfgang saying that an ambulance has taken my husband to the Pioneer Valley Hospital because he was reallly sick and blacking out and throwing up blood. His truck was still there and an officer was waiting with the vehicle until someone could come pick it up. Anyway, I was a little shocked and went out in the hall to listen to it again to understand what just happened. I saw my friend in the hall and gave her my tithing and Sunday duties to take care of and took off with Mason. I called Cory's brother first to see if he could come with me to pick up the truck. When I got a hold of him he said he was already on his way to get the truck with Cory's step-dad, and that his mom got a hold of him. So I called Cory's mom to see who she talked to and what she heard. I felt bad because she had Bronchitis. She could hardly speak but said that the officer got a hold of her from Cory's phone and that she was on her way to my church to get me. I told her I was already on my way and we met up and followed each other there to the hospital. All I can say is I love my iphone. On the way I got on the internet looked up the address of the hospital and phone number, used the GPS map and directions on my phone to get there. (Which is in the heart of West Valley, by the way, holy GHETTO!) I called the hospital and found out his room # and tried to talk to him but the nurse said he was too sick and throwing up. Finally we get there and Cory is just on the bed shaking (I think from all the drugs they were giving him) and a filled up throw up bucket next to him. I don't know how I didn't gag or throw up. Anyway, after about 7 hrs there and waiting and tests, they said it was probably just severe food poisening or an intestinal virus. He's doing a little better, he's home today and still hanging in there. Thank you to Jo, Bill, and Chad for your help! You guys were a great support group and I couldn't have done it without you Ü Thanks for entertaining Mason and getting us food. I love you guys.

Wow! I would have been freaking out, thinking the worst. I wouldn't have been able to drive! Especially in West Valley!
Glad everything is ok!
Why was he throwing up blood though? That is what is worrysome.
