Mason turned 3 on August 8th. I can't believe how big my boy is getting. He wanted a BATMAN birthday with a BATMAN birthday cake. Can you guess what he's into right now? So we had a little BATMAN birthday party. I'm so bad at taking pictures. Especially during the chaos of it all. I need 2 of me. One to take pictures of everything that is going on and one to be in charge and run it. So I took some after pictures. We had a big tunnel system set up out back for an obstacle course. We had a sparkler shaped as a 3 on his cake. So I got a picture of the cake after the sparkler put burn marks and speckles on the top. I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the cake. I thought it was pretty cool. I made a white cake but colored some batting black and yellow and swirled it in the mix so it had a yellow and black marble look when you cut into it. I made batman capes for all the kids and had goody bags for them to take home. I made batman candybar covers saying thanks for coming. We played a game with where I dumped a garbage bag of blown up balloons or "bad guys" and they had to use their batman moves and kill em all while listening to the theme of batman, of course. It was pretty cute to watch them. He had a fun BATMAN birthday!
